തിരുവനന്തപുരം: ആധുനിക സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യയും പാരമ്പര്യവും പരസ്പരം പിന്തുണച്ച് യോജിച്ച് മുന്നേറണമെന്ന് വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രി ഡോ എസ് ജയശങ്കര്. അമൃത് കാല്വിമര്ഷ് പരിപാടിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി ‘ജി20 വികസിത് ഭാരത്’ എന്ന വിഷയത്തില് തിരുവനന്തപുരം വലിയമലയിലെ ഇന്ത്യന് ഇന്സ്റ്റിറ്റിയൂട്ട് ഓഫ് സ്പേസ് സയന്സ് ആന്ഡ് ടെക്നോളജി (ഐഐഎസ്ടി)ല് വിദ്യാര്ത്ഥികളുമായി സംവദിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം.
ജി 20 ഉച്ചകോടിയിലും ബ്രിക്സ് ഉച്ചകോടിയിലും ബഹിരാകാശ മേഖലയിലെ രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ മുന്നേറ്റം ഏറെ പ്രശംസിക്കപ്പെട്ടതായും കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി ഡോ എസ് ജയശങ്കര് പറഞ്ഞു. കൊവിഡ് സൃഷ്ടിച്ച പ്രതിസന്ധിയില് നിന്ന് കരകയറിയ ചുരുക്കം രാജ്യങ്ങളില് ഒന്നാണ് ഭാരതം. ഭാരതം ഫലപ്രദമായി നടപ്പാക്കിയ ഡിജിറ്റല് അടിസ്ഥാന സ്വകാര്യങ്ങള് കഴിഞ്ഞ ഏതാനും വര്ഷങ്ങളായി ആഗോള തലത്തില് ചര്ച്ച ചെയ്യപ്പെടുകയാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.ഡിജിറ്റല് സംവിധാനങ്ങളുടെ സഹായത്തോടെ കൊവിഡ് പ്രതിരോധ വാക്സിന് എല്ലാവരിലും എത്തിക്കുന്നതില് ഇന്ത്യ വിജയിച്ചുവെന്നും ജയശങ്കര് പറഞ്ഞു. അടുത്ത 25 വര്ഷത്തിനുള്ളില് ഭാരതത്തെ ആഗോളതലത്തില് കൂടുതല് മത്സരാധിഷ്ഠിതമാക്കുക എന്നതാണ് സ്കില് ഇന്ത്യ, സ്റ്റാര്ട്ടപ്പ് ഇന്ത്യ തുടങ്ങിയ വിവിധ സംരംഭങ്ങളുടെ ലക്ഷ്യമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
2047 ലെ വികസിത ഭാരതത്തിന് അടിത്തറ പാകിയ പരിവര്ത്തനപരമായ മാറ്റങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ച് ചര്ച്ച ചെയ്യാനുള്ള പരിപാടിയാണ് അമൃത് കാല്വിമര്ഷ്. ഐഐഎസ്ടിയിലെ വിവിധ ലാബുകളും കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി ഡോ എസ് ജയശങ്കര് സന്ദര്ശിക്കുകയും വിദ്യാര്ത്ഥികളുമായി സംവദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഐഐഎസ്ടി ഡയറക്ടര് ഡോ. എസ് ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണന് നായര് സന്നിഹിതനായിരുന്നു.
External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar has said that technology and traditions should support each other and move forward together. He was interacting with students at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Valiyamala, Thiruvananthapuram, on the topic ‘G20- Vikash Bharat’ as part of the Amrit Kaal-Vimarsh initiative.
Union Minister Dr S Jaishankar said the country’s progress in the space sector, including the Chandrayaan-3 mission, was highly appreciated at the G20 and BRICS summits. He also said that India is one of the few countries that have recovered from the crisis created by the pandemic. The digital infrastructure that India has effectively implemented has been discussed globally over the past few years. India was also able to effectively deliver the COVID-19 vaccine to all with the help of digital infrastructure, he said. He also said that the aim of various initiatives such as Skill India, Start Up India is to make India more competitive globally across the next 25 years.
Amrit Kaal-Vimarsh is a programme of the Government of India to discuss the transformative changes that laid the foundations of developed India of 2047. Union Minister Dr S Jaishankar also visited various labs at IIST and interacted with students. Iist Director Dr. S Unnikrishnan Nair was present.
