‘Amrutham Swathanthrayam’ Vijnanotsavam is an General Knowledge exam being organized by Janmabhumi daily as part of Azadi Ka Amruth Mahostsav. School students from 5th grade to Plus 2 level can participate. There is no fee of any sort to be paid. There will be three levels of exams, of which level 1 & 2 will be online. Janmabhumi website itself is the exam platform. Only objective type questions asked based on the syllabus of Indian schools. The focus of the exam is India’s Freedom Struggle. All the particiapnts will be given digital certificates. Winners of the final exam will be presented with attractive cash prizes. First prize of each category is Rs 1 lakh, second prize Rs 50k and third prize Rs 25k. There will be consolation prizes for top scorers from each category.
Candidates can select between English or Malayalam as their choice. No negative marks.
The date of level 1 exam will soon be announced. Dates will be communicated to all the registered candidates through SMS or email and also will be published in Janmabhumi website

Terms and Conditions
1. The scope of this exam is India’s freedom struggle.
2. Students are grouped into three categories a) UP b) High School c) Higher Secondary
3. Including registration, there is no fee.
4. Students can directly register their names
5. For all the three categories, there will be differnt exams.
6. For all the three categories, there will be three levels of exams.
7. Janmabhumi Online site (https://www.janmabhumi.in) will be the exam platform
8. Those who score the qualifying marks in the first level will be allowed to appear for the second level. And those who qualify in the second level will be admitted for the third level.
9. The third and final level exam will be offline
10. All those who participate will get digital certificates
11. For those who come to top postions in the final round prizes will be awarded as follows. First prize Rs 1 Lakh, Second prize 50k and Third prize 25k.
12. In addition to this, for all three categories, there will be consolation prizes for top scorers
13. In each category, the basic syllabus is their respective school lessons.
14. The questions are prepared by Vijnanothsavam Academic council.
15. Sample questions will be published in the Janmabhumi site.
16. All questions will be of objective types
17. There is no negative marks.
18. After completeting the exam, the results can be known without much delay.
19. Names of those candidates selected for the next level will be published in Janmabhumi site.
20. There will be 100 questions. 30 secs will be given to answer each question. All questions will be displayed automatically in 50 minutes.
21. On the examination day, the exam link will remain open for 24 hours. The candidates can attempt anytime according to their convenience in that 24 hours time window.
22. If any disruption takes place while attempting the exam, the candidates can re-login within the 24 hour window and answer the remaining questions.
23. Close relatives of Janmabhumi staff, Academic council and the Technical Team are not allowed to participate in this exam.
24. Regarding the conduting of this exam, Janmabhumi’s decision will be final. For any complaints regarding this exam, Ernakulam will be the jurisdiction limit.
25. Those students who qualify for the prizes are required to produce proofs of their identity and educational instituition details.
